San Francisco

San Francisco

I started from San Jose around 8.00AM on a cloudy saturday morning. Being all touristy I wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge first and having googled the best places to take pictures of the bridge I reached to Battery Spencer only to my disappointment - it was foggy and the Golden Gate Bridge was almost invisible.

Palace of Fine Arts :

I headed to the Palace of Fine Arts and I must say it was one of the most beautiful places I have seen. The structures were beautiful. It was a great place to click photos.

Pier 39 :

It was lively with so many people relaxing and taking cruises. After a quick lunch I took a short cruise that gives excellent views of the Sea lions, Golden Gate Bridge and the Alcatraz.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory :

How can I miss the world famous Hot Fudge Sunday from the Ghirardelli Square? Compensation for all the calories burnt walking.

Cable Car :

A ride on the cable car is a must and it just gives the best of the city.

Golden Gate Bridge :

I told myself no matter what, I'm not going to miss taking a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge. I headed to Fort Point National Historic Site to see the ocean and the bridge up close. Must say I stood there for a moment admiring the beauty.

I could have visited the Japanses Garden and the Muir Woods..Saving it for the next time.
